Service Technician

Lutrum Incorporated, an IT Consulting Company providing Managed Services in the Phoenix-Metro area, is currently looking to hire a well-rounded Service Technician.

Title: Service Technician
Level: Full-Time
Type: Hourly

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate’s/Technical Degree and/or 1 year IT experience
  • 1 Technical Certification (or within 90 days)
  • Eligible to work in the US
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Report to: Service Manager

Department: Service Department

Responsibilities:

Primary

  • Perform level 1 technical support for Lutrum clients.
  • Diligently track and log all service time provided for Lutrum clients.
  • Document in detail all changes and configurations made to client’s network.
  • Answer incoming support calls and emails to Lutrum from clients.
  • Log all non-billable time spent on employee timesheet.
  • Provide clients with recommendations on upgrades to improve business processes.
  • Place follow up calls to clients regarding alarms that may have been triggered by monitoring system.

Secondary

  • Market Lutrum as an IT Managed Services company for organizations in SMB market.
  • (Examples: wear polo shirts; pass out business cards, word-of-mouth, etc.)
  • Attend training sessions to further understand the market and technology trends.
  • Attend weekly company meetings.
  • Provide clients with recommendations on upgrades to improve business processes.
